Late and slow to jump abrouad on this... Great idea and awesome veteran sergeant by Blackwolf!  :-*

I have three new Primaris Reivers marines to dedicate to this if that's ok? Painting will be slow and I do plan to convert the minis a bit. If there is no need for them I could also start an traitorous version of the Lead Legion, the Lead Plague Legion (LPL!!! ;) ) Hmm.. I think I will start them in any case :D

Or Lead Rot Legion :o :o :o :o

Beautiful, Blackwolf - I love the servo-skull, and the pose is perfect. Is the head one of the old GW White Wolf heads from the Empire Knights sprue that was? It's perfect, wherever it came from.

So, I'd be interested in doing a squad (that's five models, right?) of Terminators - although Blackwolf's veteran will be a tough act to follow! My idea is that they can be used for Space Hulk (as I've wanted to put together my own board for Space Hulk for a while now). If there are too many Terminator squads, I'll do either a Tactical Squad (ten models, right?), or a Scout Squad. I don't mind which, really - the first would be used for Shadow War: Armageddon, and the second for general sci-fi stuff, so I'd be happy with either if the Termies are a no-go.

Once again, what an excellent idea this is!

Or Lead Rot Legion :o :o :o :o

Very good.

Indeed, that sounds more fitting but the LPL refers to LAF quite directly ;) Maybe the chapter is called the Lead Plague Legion but are referred to as Lead Rotters :)

Apparently that's already me  ;D
You're Master of the Forge; there's plenty of Techmarines in the Legion though. Plenty! (Added you YPU. Actually, what does YPU stand for out of curiousity?)

I even have a RT beaky techmarine winging its way to me as I type  :D

Any idea on Foundry equivalents for the colours?
W00t! For Foundry colours this might help:

The more the merrier - and take your time. It's all of us pitching in with miniatures and fluff that will shape this chapter.

Usually five, yes - but can be more as part of the chapter fluff or less to reflect attrition, etc.

If there are too many Terminator squads, I'll do either a Tactical Squad (ten models, right?), or a Scout Squad.
No - the fluff is what we make it. And yes, usually 10 to a squad.

I've started some preliminary work on the 3d shoulder pads, and would hereby like to apply for the position of techmarine.

I shall also have a metal pad in my mitts by this evening, so I can have a crack at sculpting one.
Of course, if yours works perfectly well and is economic to produce I can save myself the time.

Ah, that's a bit of a difference then, I'll have to get my thinking cap on  :)

Heard recently through the door of the Master of the Forge's dressing room....

'So, Bruno, what do you think...the red velvet robes with the gold chased mechadendrites?'

'Oh, not that kind of party, eh?'

'The sequinned Mk 8 power armour with the pink Gyrinx stole it is then....'

Excellent - thanks, von Lucky. Just goes to show how good this idea is, that somebody like me who knows almost nothing about Space Marines wants to paint some! Five terminators it is!

Ok, guess I don't need to search for shoulderpads since you and YPU already have them  lol

No problem, I couldn't search for them until tomorrow, lol. Guess I'll take the day to assemble my Marines.
