Hat Guy - still nicely done. I have stalled with my 4, there's definitely more detail than I remember (doesn't help I mostly paint 15mm). But still an honoured inclusion into the club.

About those club-like badges...

Mine are still waiting on jump packs and I'm too poor/lazy to sort them out. :D

I'm starting to get the idea like the idea of a LAF spacemarine chapter, but are slowly discovering that we do in fact, not like space marines themselves.

I'll probably end up locating a nice metal oldhammer marine and just do that if I can't muster the packs for these guys soon.  I'm not a giant marine fan - but I like my Chaos force and will finish it.

Hi, all!  I mostly live over in the Cthulhu/Strange Aeons subs, but this thread caught my attention today. Hope you guys haven't stalled out completely, as it's a really fun idea.

Having never been interested enough in the SMs to make a big force, I have a handful of older models that I've been looking for an excuse to paint, and you've got me ready to roll, especially after YPU's little fluff bit about the forum/sub fora society of the legion. That was damned clever, man.

To that end, I have the following little guys to contribute-
2nd ed: tech marine, terminator lexicanium w/force axe, mkVII standard bearer.
Black Reach/ Vedros: captain, tac sergeant, terminator sergeant, dreadnought, a few tac marines.

If someone wants to assign me a company, let me know because when I opened my shoebox of spess mehreens, I also found my super rad old RT-era "space marine painting guide" that came in one of the old citadel paint sets from when I was a kid. Noticed a few of you guys discussing oldhammer squad markings, etc. and that little pamphlet has all the RT mkVI helmet and armor badges for different ranks and specialties (and sweet 80s hot rod flames on salamanders). If anyone wants a look, let me know.

Anyway, thanks for lighting a fire, guys. Hope everyone else is still cooking something up.

Thanks! I'm glad that little bit of writing is liked.

I'm currently working on a scout group for shadow war which will be in Lead Legion colours.

I used the image at the start of this thread (the one without the white background) and printed them out on transfer paper. I still need to fix them with varnish spray, but it should work as I have already tested it successfully.

I intended to paint a few Space Marines but with trying to rebase my Sisters Army, adding more units and vehicles to it I don't think that I will get around to Marines anytime soon. Really like the idea still. I have also my other projects that have to take priority.

I think you won "most prints of YPU's work" record holder in one fell swoop.  lol
