The Thousand Sons start to arrive for 40K

I finished my first squad of the new plastic Thousand Sons today.

They are fantastic models and I'll be getting more of them.  I have a Magnus and a unit of terminators primed and ready to be painted.  I'll probably match these up against my Primaris marines after we get bored of playing with them against the Genestealer Cultists.

I don't think the kit is quite as good as the Genestealer Cult kit but they are very nice figures, although a little bit more limited in what I can imagine using them for. 

I'm thinking two units, the Terminators and a leader plus a bunch of Tzaangors. 



They are actually almost the same size as the Primaris marines so they will probably be the only one of my Chaos forces I'll match up against those guys.



I got the Chaos Index so I'll have to read up on what all they can do tonight.

Interesting that they are of similar stature to the new marines. I wondered how existing chaos marines measured up.

I don't have any of my other Chaos stuff with me at the minute but the 30K thousands sons I have are pretty significantly shorter, like the tops of their helmets are at about the tops of the pauldrons on the 40K thousand sons.  Their legs are bent a bit more but not that much.
