[WH40k] My Vintage Thousand Sons CSM
« on: 15 July 2014, 02:46:04 PM »
Here my painted vintage Thousand Sons CSM. In the left there is the old TS painted about 13 years ago from another painter (at that time I was lazy) and in the right the new painted TS from me. I tried to use the classic paint scheme of the Thousand Sons:

I've other vintage Thousand Sons Chaos Space Marine (still with the old paint), maybe one day (If I will play again to WH40k) I will paint my two 9 squads with vintage rhinos.  ;)

Nice work! The yellow is much more striking visually than the gold. Will we be seeing more of these?

Thanks.  :) This is just a paint scheme prototype, after so many years I wanted to try to paint my first Thousand Sons CSM.
However I've find a nice shop near my town, where there is a board for play to WH40k, maybe if I'm lucky I will find some players again and so I will repaint my vintage armies (first my chaos renegades army, later the TS too) ;)

Here a picture of the miniatures I will repaint personally (I have another unit too, same type but with different sorcerer):
I've included some pictures of other paint scheme I've found and could consider too. But I think that the first I've yet done could be fine. I like the contrast between yellow and blue.

Lovely work, always had a soft spot for the Thousand Suns so will keep an eye on this.
