KS-3 "Warmaidens and Dragonbreds" is now LIVE!
« on: 07 July 2017, 10:40:39 AM »

Thank you!  :D

Hello everyone!

We always post on fantasy sections but this time we have opened the door for sci-fi armies also, so it was suggested that we open a thread here also.
These are teasers for the next project, more unique and affordable quality armies planned! Female fantasy and sci-fi armies for nordic and paladin armies, in both hard plastic and polyurethane resin.
We would greatly appreciate your helping us bring them to life! :)

And the KS-3 teaser video!  :)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xigrZVyAhOc&feature=youtu.be

We hope you like them as much as we do!

Thank you for reading.  :)

I commend your expansion into this genre, and look forward to seeing more details.

I am hoping for vehicles that do not look like certain late 'eighties plastic kits (or longboats or cathedrals).

For the wolves, something inspired by the BV 202/206, Warthog or Viking would be cool (literally).

You could do a scout vehicle with the front unit only.

If you do a tank, please can it be a tank not a fire support vehicle (an APC with a gun turret). Reuse the running gear, but new upper hull please.

Tanks yes, for all armies (different versions). There's going to be a "vanilla" version and we will allow a sea of stuff to be added in order to bring out a number of versions we think you're going to like. The tank for the wolves -or at least one of it's versions- is in the YouTube video posted above.

Thank you!   :)

Looking promising, will the tanks be resin or hard-plastic? Haven't found the time yet to check the video and screenshot the previews!

Tanks will be in resin, we are already cofunding the troops, we don't have enough funds to go full plastic on everything. We have already asked quotes however, should the project explode we will opt for them to be tooled in hard plastic, replacing each resin tank with 3 plastic ones.
We prefer to keep our expectations more reasonable though, so funding the plastic kits for the Wolves and Paladins is our main priority. We have more coming from the East too...  ;)

Wargame News and Terrain have a picture of the "tank":
http://wargameterrain.blogspot.co.uk/2017/07/shieldwolf-miniatures-plastic.html

Based on the one picture on third party site:

FSV  ✓
Mk 1 Rhino ✓
Letter being drafted by PETA ✓
SD* format ✓

In its favour, the driving position looks like it might take a person.

Now, the final product (like the guns) may look different.

* Super Deformed, though this could be an artifact of the image being distorted.

There will be variations, yes.  8)

Tank is Super Deformed, though this could be an artifact of the image being distorted.

That's because it's a screenshot and yes, it is deformed and doesn't do all the detail any justice at all, we'll make sure to circulate much better and clearer pictures as we get closer.  :)

I was hoping for something like this for when the ladies went out for a night's viking.

Of course suitably accessorised.

Nope.   ;)

On the other hand we have learned by now that there's absolutely now way on Earth we'll please everyone involved in our projects so we just carry on simply being professional and honest, and que sera, sera  8)

A perfectly reasonable attitude.

I look forward to seeing the finished product.
