I decided to make a News Year's Resolution for 2020, and that is to get my collection of Rogue Trader era 40K Adventurers painted. My first batch is a bunch of Space Pirates.

My color inspiration was a concept illustration for the Jodorosky Dune project, drawn by Moebius:

I have lots of 40K projects planned for the year, so I hope to get more stuff into the thread.
a mixture of quick parts, sarcastic humour, reserve, and caprice.

Stunning!
You have painted the crispest, cleanest versions of these classics that I have ever seen.
Love the colour scheme.

I vote for the bottom row.  Amazon first of course.
Painted:  2025:539; 2024: 410; 2023: 37; 2022: 56

Absolutely fantastic group! I really love the Moebius inspired colour scheme with the stylised skull & crossbones badge and snazzy striped trousers.

Cant wait to see more!

I'm with axiom on this - great choice of inspiration.

And I'd chose the space crew next (pilot, engineer, ships officer, etc).

Although that Amazon is tempting too.
