I'd be very interested in seeing how the Marksmen of Miragliano scale alongside the Perry WOTR range.

Here's a quick comparison pic.
Never mind the paint, I just started work on them.

Although the GW looks a bit smaller and chunkier, I think that with a decent paintjob they'll fit in with the Perry's just fine.

Thanks chaps.

I'm just glad they at least have an Italian vibe about them  :)

Nice work on the shields! Freehand?

Thanks! And yes, they semi-freehand as I used paper tape to make the crosses and other straight lines.

Thanks! I was quite suprised and happy they fit so well together.

The Duke has called upon his subjects and the first unit of noblemen have responded;

They are a mish-mash of plastics but I think they turned out good.

More and some previews of the next units are here:

Nicely done, but the aspect of the photo makes it look like a kind of medieval rendering of the David and Goliath story.  ;)

Very nice.  I like the brushwork on their faces and your color choices.  Thank you for sharing Jericho.

They look great. Really down and dirty.
I'm not normally a fan of painted eyeballs - they always look a bit clownish to me. But yours work really well. The chap second from the right really does look as if he's staring death in the face  :o :o :o

I also like the advancing swordsman with the bouche shield. I am so nicking that pose :D
