Aly,

Talking of the banners and standards.... It would certainly be relevant to Montlhery; where did you source them from?

Darrell...

I took inspiration from this site and the flags that Mike Perry drew for the plastic sets...
Then redrew them to suit my own desires and style

Hi Guys
Last night I did a test figure to see how I was going to deal with the Paris city militia... I intend to do about half of them with pavaise's,

I have simplified the coat of arms a bit... I shall keep the fancy stuff for the banner... :)

All the best Aly

This is looking like a great start to your army Aly. Reading the big battle report you took part in on the Perry brothers facebook page a while back has me itching to start painting the pile of plastic medievals that I have.

Always great to see a variation on those WotR minis. Particularly nice paintjobs, and the flags are a triumph. Thanks for sharing!
And, of course: Montjoie et Saint Denis!

I missed the boat on the previous posting, but I'd just like to say how pleased I am to see someone having a go at Late 15th Century French (I think I can recall only two or three others that have had a go on here, if you include Stuart's fine offerings). There isn't much info about on flags and banners etc for the last 1/4 of the 15th Century, so I can appreciate the effort.

Great painting and I look forwards to seeing this army grow.  :)

You can keep those johnny-come-lately Burgundians that the cool kids play with, Montjoie et Saint Denis!  ;)
