My 15th Century French
« on: October 10, 2015, 05:11:39 PM »
What with all my gaming chums having beautiful collections of War of the Roses, Burgundians and Swiss I really needed to do something different if I wanted to join in...
so... French it is...
this is the first unit ... French Ordonnance Longbow...
All Perry's pretty much straight from the box with some head swaps and European style heads...
The flags were drawn on Photoshop... my daughter has been teaching me how to use Photoshop properly so this was .... well.... homework :D...

All the best  Aly

Great job, impressive work on those flags

Great stuff Ally!  :-* :-* :-*

I've started on doing the two sides for Montlhery so I'm with you all the way with getting away from Burgundians and Swiss- not that there's anything wrong painting up with said armies- it's just a bit more fun to to something a little different!

Thank you for the kind comments gentlemen...

Simon a battle of nations sounds like a plan... I shouldn't need a to many units ( although we all know that there is no such thing as to many toy soldiers) before I start making alliances ... I think we could even include Mike Perrys Italians....
I have already started some Scottish Guard archers ... More pretty flags.
Although based on my dice rolling I should really be painting casualties  lol.....

All the best.  Aly

Lovely start. Some really nice looking figures there.  :D

The flags are a triumph. Your daughter could probably set up in business teaching wargamers how to use photoshop properly.  ;)  lol

Alas, poor Photoshop Elements.... I used to know it well.....  :-[ :'(

It won't run on my new laptop without me paying another £70!!!

I'm reduced to using Picassa which to be honest is rubbish by comparison even with Elements!

Darrell.
