Pretty neat!

Before clicking on this, I was envisioning 80+ year old geezers on 3 or 4-wheeled "scooters" wielding canes......

Might be good to have some of those too.

OK, who is going to be the first to do this?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vespa_150_TAP

FNG via Empress do the RCL and crew.

Cool, definitely.

From the Wikipedia article:

"Due to the lack of any kind of aiming devices the recoilless rifle was never designed to be fired from the scooter; the gun was mounted on a tripod, which was also carried by the scooter, before being fired. However, in an emergency it could be fired while in the frame, and while the scooter was moving."

Now, mounted on a sidecar...

I suspect this whole thing is just an elaborate marketing stunt to sell more Ben Sherman shirts and winckle-pickers.

I think the only way you are going to convince us otherwise is to produce the Roman Holiday version of the Vespa. :)

On the subject of marketing, while on holiday in Italy I was convinced that all mopeds were supplied with a beautiful woman in a miniskirt, no matter the state of the driver, there was always one perched on the pillion seat.

I think they come free with them too. Really old ones have those black-clad widows on the back, which supports your theory.

Having dated, in my youth, a number of Italian women of both the domestic and exported varieties, you can trust me when I say that nothing is free in this life. The scooter might look nice, the girl pretty and her dress very fashionable but you will need to reconcile yourself to spending at least one night a week over at her parents having dinner with half a dozen members of her family for every week of the year for the rest of your life. That and kissing 200 people every time you go to a social event, wedding, baptism, social club etc etc.

Buon appetito!

These sculpts are fantastic, well done. I can predict a posse of post apoc lunatics on these too, so help me! Throw in those victory force codgers and a few of the 28mm motor cycles that you can find out there already and it will be a heck of a party  o_o o_o o_o

The Lambretta museum in Weston has been on the market for sale a couple of times in the last few years.
And supposed to have been closing a few times too.
Its a great little place though.
The crooked dice minis are based on Vespas but the museum should provide some inspiration none the less.

Getting closer to release date can't wait. Saw these in the bare metal at the 7TV day and they are gorgeous.
