... I have to admit to not liking the arm asymmetry when they came out, but that looks great.

Well, IMO the original stunted short Plasma weapon was not fitting, it looked in a way amputated.
With the longer more elegant shuriken cannon and the flamers, it somehow works.
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - http://www.adpublishing.de

Wonderful repaints, sir.
Some of my favourite RT sculpts of all time in amongst those babies.
They really have aged perfectly well.
 :-* :-* :-*

.....and I am particularly envious of the Spirit Warrior.  8) 8) 8)

You are not alone.
 :D

I bet that walker is older than most of the people that play 40k  lol

Too right.
I like telling the 'know it all' new bloods that I have 40K figures older than them.
Especially when they dont believe me at first.....
 ;)

More Eldar...

1991 metal Jet Cycles as they were named originally in the old blue catalogue. The bike in the middle is the follow up plastic mini with a metal shuriken cannon.

Rogue Trader Craftworld Eldar 1991 - Fire Dragons and their Phoenix Lord Fuegan - "the Burning Lance," founder of the Fire Dragons Aspect Warriors.
Fuegan was (IIRC) released around 1994, together with the other Phoenix lords and the 2nd edition Rick Priestley blue Codex.

Großes Kino. Wonderful. Wish I had bought more of these old stuff years ago.

More lovely additions to the force.
 :-*

I have a hankering for one of those Spirit Warriors now.
I have a few of the smaller drones but none of their larger cousins.
 8) 8)

In fact, I am considering adding to my own RT Eldar, thanks both to this thread and playing my first game of SWA with them.
I think I might just finally slap some paint on my own Aspect Warrior conversions....
Thanks for the inspiration.

That's some really nice painting, although I'll echo the comments about liking the old-school yellow look.

And again Eldar - this time a very old weapon platform, new terrain and Dark Reapers.

Well the Hobby has changed since the 90s, today we even have Eldar terrain! The above piece is from the restic Deathworld Forest set.

Suitable Shuriken Cannon Weapon platform. The cannon is new, while the platform itself is again from the 90s.

Another old jetbike.

Rogue Trader Craftworld Eldar 1991 - Dark Reaper. The Exarch is one of my first conversions - the web of skulls was removed and a missile launcher attached.
