Crisis 2017 IMPORTANT NOTE ON CAR TRAVEL
« on: July 24, 2017, 11:17:07 AM »
The figure in the middle is our rendition of Tijl Uilenspiegel. It's this year's free figure for the Crisis wargame show in Antwerp.Since Crisis keeps growing we have upped the number of free figures from 1600 to 1700. So the first 1700 visitors will find it in their goodie bag. The other two figures representing his faithful companions Nele and Lamme Goedzak, will be sold as a limited run set of 450. This set comes complete with a scenic base and a presentation box for 10 Euros and will be sold at the show. Sculpted by maestro Paul Hicks and cast by Griffin Moulds so you know they will be superb!

Those are very nice indeed, especially Lamme Goedzak (who'd make a good double for Porthos, too).
Back from the dead, almost.

Crisis has become sort of a tradition for myself and the Voivod, so we'll be there. Mostly to spend and chat of course. :D

Those minis look superb! Tijl Uylenspiegel was mandatory reading when I was a wee lad, but I never realised that this was the period the stories were set in! I might never use them as such, but they'd make excellent armed civilians for an 80 Years War game I'm hoping to one day start...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

I will as it's just accross the border from where I live. My youngest accompanied me last year and wants to go again. Will do a little shopping and hope to play a Lardies game as that has become a kind of personal Crisis tradition for me :)

Koekie, how can I get a set? I'll be assisting the PSC shop all day and I doubt I will be able to leave before 14:00 to get a set.

I will certainly be at Crisis with my Sky Galleons and will certainly want the entire set. Is it possible to pre-order?

Hi all,

in case it is not yet known, Antwerpen City Centre (i.e. anything within the circular motorway) has apparently been declared a restricted-traffic area requiring vehicle registration to access.

Modern vehicles meeting the EURO-4 to EURO-6 exhaust gas standards (and some older non-Diesel vehicles) may enter the area without having to pay fees (for the time being), but you'll have to register your car to avoid being fined.

I am unsure on how exactly it applies to Belgian and Dutch vehicles, but apparently any vehicles licensed in EU states MUST Register until 24h after entry to the zone (or preferably in advance) or will be fined if entering the restricted zone.

The Registration process, from submission of application, is stated to take a maximum of 10 days, so anybody intending to drive to Crisis will have to register and should do so quickly.

Here's a link to an Information page with a further link to the Registration process:
