« on: November 06, 2017, 02:08:56 PM »
Another Crisis in Antwerp has passed by. It was a great event with lots to see and buy. Here is a rather big picture report of the convention. I will ad more pictures over the day , so make sure to come back later for the rest of the pictures. You will find many more pictures on https://wargamesgazette.com/2017/11/06/crisis-2017-2/

The show looks to be very good.

In recent years, I have visited Carronade (Falkirk) and Salute (London).

Is Crisis bigger and better than Salute?

It's not bigger - roughly around 2000 people attending as opposed to, what, 7 or 8k at Salute.

Better? Difficult one. Salute is busier (and with more traders and games) but Crisis is certainly my favourite show of the year as a trader. Much more relaxed, more space, waaaay better food and drink.

I'd certainly recommend that everyone should go at least once   8)

I would say Salute is better for the range of traders but games not so great whilst Crisis has a very good balance of both trade and games. I thought this year Salute was heavily swinging towards Sci-Fi and fantasy. But, that’s just my call according to my tastes etc.
