15mm sci fi modular tiles

After unsuccessfully using 2D tiles for my sci fi games I decided to make my own.  Inspired once again by Spacejacker's blog I borrowed several of his ideas.  He's really talented.  Here is the inspiration:

First thing I did was make the tiles themselves out of lipped bases and plastic tread plates.

Then I planned out the scenery.  I want to game Star Wars, Star Trek, Alien, and some off world Bladerunner.  The tiles were based on those movies.  I have a bar, a dining table, control room and chair, medical centre and a few Star Trek terrain  I liked.  The crates and stuff comes from all the major 15mm suppliers.
