Help to find ancient greek actors
« on: August 13, 2017, 01:45:08 PM »
Hi all
Although I will use them in some pulp setting  its more appropriate to ask here since you know better what is available!

I am looking for some 28mm male figures, bearded, holding a staff in toga/ancient Greek tunic suitable to man the chorus of an ancient Greek drama. If available singly is a great advantage is agreat advantage since buying six packs is quite a silly thing.

Can you recommend something?

Thanks in advance

Not much to choose from, I'm afraid. :?

Have a look at at these civilian ranges:
Wargames Foundry
Warlord Games (former Immortal)
Newline Designs
Maybe you could ask if they can provide you with individual models. And also consider small conversions.

My first response was "I'm pretty sure they're all dead", but as you're after their 28mm versions :

The elders from Black Tree Design might work?

These could work, with green stuff beards if that is a requirement:

Those rather nice civilians by Newline Design are 20mm size!

Just returned from a small trip and saw your answers. Some good suggestions since for example I didin't know the Matakishi's Line.

That's is a very good suggestion! Thanks a lot. I'll try...

Maybe some Roman senate speakers or similar could substiture. After all, all toga is a toga, right? ;)
