Dungeon Master

I made this sculpt on a bit of a whim. I adored playing Dungeons and Dragons as a boy and I think, like most of us it was the entry point to a hobby we still indulge today. He's 32mm to his eyes.

That's a lovely characterful sculpt.  8)

Must admit to being a little disappointed it wasn't the wee bald fella from the cartoon...

Lol, thanks Jollybob. I know Antediluvian Miniatures do a Dungeon Master miniature from the cartoon series :)

Love it.

Is that a White box D&D set in his hand?

Could be. I'd rather it was the purple version, my favourite edition, as it was the first I owned.

Looks pretty darn close to E. Gary to me! At least in his younger years. Bravo!

First saw him in the late 70s, at the Playboy club GenCon (was it GenCon 10?) and dang! if this figure isn't intended to be E. Gary, it comes pretty close.

Wow! Playboy club gencon, I think that sounds just heavenly, that must have been a good day, if not the best day ever!  😃

Beautiful figure, and a great capture of E.G.G.

When can I buy one? :D

I don't know yet. Not too sure what to do with all the oddball sculpts I've been making lately. I'm considering doing a Kickstarter to cover the casting costs.

You can see videos of the sculpts here.....
