Vampire Counts
« on: November 02, 2017, 06:39:08 AM »
I am doing some vampire counts for warhammer 8th ed at a leisurely pace. My two close friends are also doing a small force so I would have people to play with.

Vampires have always been a favourite. This vampire is a small conversion from the vampire lord mounted on zombie dragon.

Corso, love this Count. Love the conversion of this mini In the foot and mounted version.
Do you own the mounted conversion of this guy? Or made the foot version after seeing the mounted version?

Thanks for the feedback!

@Grimm - I have the Start Collecting Flesh Eaters set and with the terrorgheist kit I had an extra vampire. I was inspired to make him on foot after seeing the mounted version - am not much good with conversions but for this it wasn't much difficult. If I had extras like him I would convert them into blood knights - don't like the finecast ones.

That's a great conversion! I didn't know the zombie dragon came with that model, it's quite nice for a more recent one.
Agree about the blood knights, I had a chance to bid on some metal ones but the sculpts are just a bit...meh for me.

I don't like that GW figure, but your brushwork is ace, CONGRATULATIONS!  :-*

Very cool. I love the red you have used and the spikes on the back add a great menacing look.

Nice color choices there.  That rich red really helps make the pallid flesh pop.
