I've been replacing some of my Plastic Soldier Company 20mm Russians and Germans with AB figures. Partly to add variety, but mainly because the AB figures just look so good.
Here are some of the figures in the Russian leader pack. I had painted these with their faces in my usual style, which is a base coat of flesh followed by a wash of GW's Ogryn Flesh (or whatever the new name for it is now), but I thought my faces were not standing out enough and so tried a different style. A base coat of dark brown and then the flesh blocked in, followed by a lighter flesh highlight. The contrast works well for gaming and the figures look much better from a distance.

I bought two squads of the AB Heer Germans to add variety to my German mix (mainly PSC figures). These are lovely figures to paint. If you're interested there's a bit more on my blog
