update................I will releasing a 28mm Wargames model
of the French Gunboat this year........to go with my Tonkin range.
comprising a resin hull with Metal armament for the forward cannon
and the upper turret Hotchkiss ....metal steering wheel and anchor

Crew are being made this splendid vessel..........based on the actual boat "Revolver" her sister ship aptly named "mitrailleuse" they were something of a sensation on Tonken with the Hotchkiss firing one pound high expolsive shells and the armoured plated ,coupled with the Jules Verne style/ancient greek classical look..used  to ram Blackflag junks and
other water impediments .......

same thought as me....I was going to make one of the
larger types...but to be honest they lack the style and visual
punch and Revolver grew on me...........

its underway as we speak,,,,,,,,,,,, :o :-* o_o ;)

Just found this thread, looking for ideas for my 1950s war in the Tonkin region.
