I decided to try some 15mm figures for a chance and decided to try to build a Parthian army for (Basic) Impetus. Impetus does not require as many figures as some other Ancients systems, which means less purchases and less painting
I tried to go the cheapest way, which meant Donnington Originals (they sell individual figures). I thought I'd get a whole army for less than 50 €, but ended up spending about 3-4 times that... some Donnington figures from my original order did not work out and I had to find alternatives; I wanted to check what other manufacturers figures look like; and I ended up purchasing the figures for a full Impetus army (500 points) including camp.
Donnington Arab Archers to use as skirmishers (figures for 2 bases):
I will paint a larger batch before I base these. I also am not sure if I put too much time and effort to them, considering they are 15mm figures. Colours might also be stronger? I have only 3-5 figures worth of previous experience in 15mm.
