Othertime Inn [Roof Almost done! 3/8]
« on: 17 April 2009, 07:45:43 PM »
Hi! This summer, when I was preparing my final test for high school, I needed some distractions, and I prepared a 3D model on Maya (I'm Really bad whith this program!) of a really big house. Then I started building it whith various materials, but I dropped the project when i passed the exam. (92/100!!!)

Then, some weeks ago, I found some images of really cool houses 'round the web, so I gave a new life to my project. Here's what I did since now... I'll post new pics every new part I'll do! :)

This is the external view. Of course, I haven't make the exteriors, so it looks still like a plain foam sheet... I'm working on it!

As you see, there's a lot of rooms inside... Here's some...

And more...

Here's the first floor...  It tooks 2 days, but i make all the floor covered whith balsa... it looks great, and I hope that, When I paint it, it will take approximately THIS colour!

I'm waiting for your severe Judgement...   :-I :-I :-I

(i've started the same topic here and in Workbrench.... I hope it's legal... please mods, tell me otherwise! :) )

Looks good so far, but can't give final judgement without finished pictures!! 8)
Victory is guaranteed to the last man standing, but always remember those whom you stepped on to get there!!

yeah, maybe you're right! It has to be finished, before saying anything! anyway, I made some proofs, and I have mastered all the colour schemes (like the roof one!)... I hope to finish it in 2 weeks... :)

Didn't see this thread when you first posted it for some reason so thanks for reviving it!

Looking very nice for a WIP - look forward to seeing it finished and your modular building bits going on sale...  :D
