I count similarly with my yearly goal, but I reduce „painting points“ for smaller scales. So it‘s 1/2 point for 15mm infantry etc.

Paint more than buy has worked reasonably well in recent years, and I include sales and trade offs.

However I don‘t seem to be able to reach much more than 200 painting points on the year, inclusive terrain. And it usually takes a strong push in december to do so. Even with a big project with a simple, basic paintjob (NKE) I didn‘t come close to 365.

Hats off to anyone reaching one miniature per day, while I will try to reach my much smaller goal again in 2018.

Pretty sure I won't paint more this month.

Not pictured are ten repainted Crossbowmen and some progress with a house row. I might open a thread to present the models more closely and tell some stories of them. Very unfocused when it comes to games, so mainly painting what I fancy.

So how would you point these models, according to the challenge system presented in the opening post?

I'll try to get a photo up but for January I painted 14 points of First Nation figures from Pulp Miniatures for their Flint & Feather game.

No photo since bases not textured yet, but painted 36 pronghorn antelope (Irregular miniatures 15 mm) for my old west/plains/apache wars collection in January.  Same models will be used for various gazelles in Africa - 48 tommies, 24 grants, 24 impalas.

The painting table is very busy so far this year.  Closing in on finishing several French and Indian War units, too.  And tinkering with my Old West freight cars - modified Peter Pig flat cars into cattle cars, tanks cars, and gondolas.

May the painting winds stay at my back and propel me ever forward.

I just spent most of my holiday sitting around in New Zealands most unloved city but I have managed to produce some infantry for the Back of Beyond so 11 points so far.
