I’ve been quietly busy with quite a few minis painted or being painted for the LPL; images will follow when the relevant rounds are done and dusted.

I’ve started on the first section of Cobbled Road (yes I know they’re actually setts

).
It uses a piece of 3mm thick MDF cut 300mm by 75mm, with a smoothed smear of green stuff or milliput into which I have impressed each block. I estimate there are about 4,000 of them on this block, and I found it was significantly less tedious if carried out while drinking beer. Cheers!
In reality the section is 302mm long as I had to add a plasticard strip at each end to match the dimensions of the building tiles, which have plasticard added for their kerbstones.
This is a test piece. It hasn’t warped yet but there’s still painting to come .......

The manhole cover to the right is a laser etching by OSHIROmodelterrain. In game play terms I’d like to allow movement through the sewers though the actual building of sewers seems unlikely (I have a lot of ground level buildings yet to make).
