Well, it’s been decided that I’ll be putting on a Limehouse participation game for next years Salute (it was decided for me

). The basic layout is sorted and I’ll do a decent sketch of it soon enough but here is a basic start.
The idea is to have a narrow section of river at one end and a viaduct at the other with plenty of buildings and ‘stuff’ in between. They are limiting the tables sizes for trader games next year to 6x4/6x5 which means I’ll be able to a decently detailed board in time.
First off is planning the river edge with wharves, part of a bridge and a slipway. There should be plenty of ins and outs to draw the eye and as many levels as possible (which won’t be that many unfortunately).
The bridge is a mock up but the stanchions will be the ones I’ll be using and the frontage will hopefully just sit up against the boards relatively seamlessly. The buildings aren’t the ones that will be there in the final version but they will be on the board (somewhere).

There won’t be much else done on this for a little while, I just had to get a bit done tonight whilst the muse whacked me round the head
