The washing line sounds a bit fiddly?
"You won't be allowed to play in there if the washing is out on the line" I am sure that is what my mun used to say away!

That works well as a composition. I do really like the muted colours. Sheets on the line would finish off nicely, but as you say, they're not necessary to get the building on the table.

Handsome. I’d add the washing lines personally (as well as the window sills;)) It will give the building more of a definite character. And maybe a broken down old giant washtub in the yard.
