15mm halflings - advice sought

Hi all.

I'm looking for a bit of advice on 15mm halflings. Firstly, should a halfling be as tall as a dwarf? Looking at the below link I'd guess that the Essex halflings (which I'm interested in) would be about as big as my 15mm Ral Partha dwarfs and bigger than their goblins. In my view a halfling probably ought to be slightly shorter than a dwarf.

15mm fantasy is well catered for but I'm being a bit fussy on halflings. I want them to look fragile, not like chubby (or chubbier) dwarves. Any other general advice or info on the subject welcome. Has anyone tried 10mm humans for instance?

It all depends first in which setting you plan to play. The way I see it (general D&D vision) a halfling is just a smaller human 90 to 110 cm, a dwarf is 135-150 cm. The chubby style is more hobbittt'ish than halfling'ish. If you play a reglar D&D halfling he is not chubby pere se, he'l be just like a regular human so he can be slim or chubby. Same thing with the Dragonlance Kenders they are also 90-110 cm

There isn't a setting, it's generic fantasy. I agree with your D&D height definitions so that is what I'd like to have.
