This looks great - well done.

I suspended my Star Wars Project when I was commissioned to write a book. I will go back to it at some point.

First building done and it will be cast along with the vast majority of the others I plan to do; partly to make town building easier, partly to sell.

Here's the front. Quite simple for now but there are many different forms that these buildings can take so there'll be plenty of choice  :)

Figures aren't up to much but they will almost look like tokens on the board so I'm not that bothered.

I've also dug out my toy Falcon and although it's not quite to scale it'll certainly do for this exercise.

those really do look the part don't they!

While legion has left me cold, seeing other hobbyists responses to it (in the form of different projects) has really given me a star wars itch, and you aren't helping .I've only just got all the tiny foam trees out of my beard from the last lot of star wars modelling i did....

never trust a horse, they make a commitment to shoes that no animal should make.

Nice to see all your big projects being brought back to life! :-* I feel we lost a lot of good stuff when Photobucket messed us all up

Obviously didn’t get round to posting my original photos  but I have got some new stuff  :)

Solo got me inspired for Star Wars again and so for now we have a rebel trooper (Pig Iron near future) with a helmet sculpts which still needs a tad of a tidy.

And then we have a tree for Endor. This one is just a sample to try the technique and as I’m happy with it I’ll be doing a tutorial next week when I do some more  :)

I’ll also be doing some Imperial buildings but not for a while yet.

Nice job on the tree. I could see some platforms and bridges connecting a few of those at a higher level.

Nice tree. I am looking forward to your tutorial.

I have also been making trees for Endor using air drying clay over plastic pipes.
I had problems with cracking so ended up repairing them with hot melt glue and Milliput and then a layer of tissue.
They will look OK but it was a lot of work.

Thanks chaps  :)

Platforms are a possible option but for the moment it’ll be film based (around the bunker and other Imperial installations) and not Battlefront based.

I’ll hopefully be able to do the tutorial later tomorrow.

How tall is the tree?

Good start mate! :-* Are you going to add some knots, branches and branch cut offs to the next trees?

What’s the plan? Just trees or are you building a bunker or(even better) an AT-AT/shuttle docking platform?

BTW you really need some log piles and ewok traps for your AT-ST to trip over!

Thanks chaps  :)

How tall is the tree?

This one is about 300mm but the other tubes are around 400mm.

All of the above at some point or another  :)
