Onward with photos from the previous thread and next up is the hanger bay (for the life of me I can't remember which number I gave it  lol).

Blue foam again for the construction and the pad itself was already made. The ring on the roof (which was the part that determined the inspiration and the size) was a left over from my old job. A few domes here and there, some gubbins, a lot of gloop and some paint and we're done  :)

I decided to give it a more Star Wars feel on the inside with some Imperial style wall panels (lasered acrylic) but dirtied them down along with the bits and pieces in there.







I'll have a look at posting some ships up next  :)

Lovely stuff. I particularly like that you've detailed the walls with an interior finish, rather than simply replicating the exterior render.

I’m hoping to do something similar with the interiors of some of the buildings. Probably not using the Imperial design though.
