I must confess that I do not like the comics presentation. In some way it spoils the photo and colours.  [I think]
I would suggest that the presentation in such cases should be in both form presentation i.e. comics and photos!

That's why I made sure that one panel had all five minis together, more or less unmolested.  That center panel is the shot I would have submitted had I not used the comics presentation.  The rest is more or less icing on the cake, and allows me to show some detail shots.

I thought about the comics presentation, by the way, when I realized that my usual 800 pixel wide shots, being only about 300 pixels high, don't take advantage of the 800 x 800 photo rule.  Not having any scenery, it was hard to figure out how to use the additional room in a shot taller than 300 pixels.  The comics page used the extra height, and allowed me to build in some humor (or so I hoped).

It is a small tutorial to me, being a totally ignorant on photographing (miniatures including).
So, everything is much more clear to me!
