I love that shrine... I also love the guy laying on the ground wounded... very natural looking pose.

Epically beautiful as always!

I love the way you have carried the theme across the whole collection  :-* :-* :-*

Another set of completions from recent weeks - I needed a second unit of forest elementals for Kings of War, and lo and behold Mierce was doing 2for1 on monstrous infantry, so these guys worked perfectly and came out at GW-esque prices. Still pricy, but lovely figures.

I also needed a new Ice Queen, also for KoW, but in the same style as the forest elementals, so I decided to make a wizened, blind crone with leathery, pallid flesh reflecting the otherworldly energies she taps into. Without further ado...

Really nice and evocative scenes. Speaking of the different games you play, the statue should make a great Sacred Ground for SAGA: Age of Magic.

crikey, yes those are real backwoods bogeymen.

v. atmospheric write-up on the Crone.

Wow.  Those look suitably frighting.  Great figures and backstory.

Man those terrors are cool, are they conversions? Don't think I've seen them before!

Great mood around that Crone, you set the scene so well!

Oooh. Haven't had the chance to play Age of Magic yet. Any strong feelings on it? I'm moving back to London in a few months and hoping there'll be more of a SAGA scene there.

Cheers. Yes, really felt the Mierce minis sold the 'forest horror' look!

Thanks a lot! This is just snow effects (Model Mates) + PVA glue to a thick, rough consistency, applied with a decades-old brush.

Very good indeed. Love the back stories too.

Cheers :)

Thanks. Enjoying writing up the flavour text for each unit.

Cheers - the Terrors are Mierce Miniatures Bog Beasts. They're very expensive unless, as I did, you manage to get them on a 2for1 deal or a half price sale (which are on fairly frequently thru Mierce).

Fantastic  :-*

Thanks! :)

All such lovely work, well done  :-*

Cheers Capt - much appreciated :)

Some more completions for the Order's forces. I'm roing to Franticon, an enormous Mantic Games-sponsored event in London, in March. I've signed up against my better judgment to three days of non-stop Kings of War and Kings of War: Vanguard action, with Vanguard on the Friday, KoW Doubles on the Saturday, and Singles on the Sunday. It's going to be utterly insane and I'm probably going to want to take a long break from miniature wargaming afterwards. With that said, I'm going to need a few more completions! Here's the first of many units to come - another unit of Black Order (very) heavy cavalry:
