Bought the .pdf today (will buy a hard copy once one reaches my LGS).

I like what I see! I kept going through looking for the gigantic list of points and options and the single page of: "here's 3 options - sort it out" is simplicity itself. I like.

For an Osprey book infamous for page limits you do seem to have packed a ton of information in.

Now if only there were some figures that'd be perfect for this book. There's a company with lead in the title... I just can't quite remember it...

Had our first game the other night.

Lots of fun to be had. The main lesson learnt was that no matter how good your troops, stick to cover - especially when outnumbered!

Just ordered two copies of the book for myself and a mate.

As a traditional historical wargamer this is a new departure for me. I have a lot of ruined buildings from my WW1 games. Zona Alfa just seems a fun low commitment game to try. I also wondered if it could be adapted as a WW1 trench raiding game if say there is a ruined town between the lines? Seen 1917 twice now so you can see where I got that idea from!
