That is just great!
It's a grand design, the tail winch is brilliant, and the bandana just fits the bill.

Oh my, what's breeding here?!
Really cool walker(s), very well done & painted.
Did you write somewhere what the walker does? What's its function? To me, the barrel form suggests some sort of liquid/gas container.

Thank you all! But oh, you can see there is no mystery to it, it's all made using rubbish an bits, anyone can build that! The key to it: just wire the damn thing up!
Anything will look better covered in dirty wires
I didn't think of a clear original purpose for any of the walkers. One could assume they both were used in some kind of agricultural duties. D.A.P.P.L.E. looks particularly like an auxiliary vehicle for multitask works. You can use it to plough, to tow broken machinery, for refueling purposes or any other kind of long-distance assistance. Both mounts are far tougher than they look
, they are about to live some adventures along the galaxy

Back to this project! Not yet to expand the Don Quirixote universe (is that even a thing?), but to repeat some stuff. Some weeks ago I was commissioned by a pal to make him another walker just in the same style than the first one I did. Fortunately enough I still kept another serum vial:
Though following the same basic steps, I thought it could be interesting having more exposed engine parts.
I went this way...
But my pal told me he didn't want a generic wasteland walker, but another sci-fi Quixote. Say no more.
I added some other different details from the first model. Pedals for the rider, for example, or external wiring, suggesting that the inner cooling system doesn't work properly, as one could expect from such an old techsteed.
So, the two of them compared...
Here you can find a few more pics:

My pal will be painting it, and for sure he'll make an outstanding work. I'll let you know when that happens...

Some of the best work I've ever seen on the LAF.

Just the things to confuse some role players,
especially if they have never read the book.
Very nice work.
