The 1st Snowtrooper squad is done, again a joined venture with Scarsminiaturemadness.nl
I added some more highlights, snow and reapainted the base rims.


They work IMO very well with my Range Troopers from Skullforge.

I started with Star Wars Legion, but sold it, found it difficult to clean the flash on the soft plastic miniatures, loved them to be in hard plastic.

True the soft plastic minis are horrible!!!

Maybe the new Clone Wars minis are to your liking, crips hard plastic!

Most of it, the core box has softer Clones and Obi Wan, all the rest from that on is hard plastic IIRC.
And really good one!

Had a look at the entire thread. Awesome painting!

I'm a big Star Wars fan but until now had resisted the urge to buy the miniatures (did paint a bunch of Void Viridian assault marines as Imperial stormtroopers in the past), but this thread pushed me over the edge: I've bought the Imperial Assault core box from someone's pile of shame.

Proto Stormtrooper - During the Bad Batch (S01E14) the old Ralph McQuarrie Stormtrooper concept design was canonised, I really loved that respectful reference to the old master! As soon as I saw these designs as 3d prints, I just had to get them...

Skullforge designs at its best, clean simple and true to the screen.

General Vers by FFG, compared to after market 3D printed minis a mediocre design with an awkward pose...

The pics shows the General with Skullforge Rangetroopers from SOLO.

My Hoth troops are coming together...
