Not water instead of gravel?

Not for a simple shrine in the city but there are public spaces that have water in them which is another good idea for a low section of terrain

Still flitting around with this project, doing bits and bobs when time allows. One thing that is becoming more prevalent on Japanese roof tops are PV (photovoltaic) panels and I've done a couple as a test. The drawing needs a bit of rejigging and they'll be ready for the webshop

Very nice - what are the dimensions on those?
I've got a couple of panels I started scratch building for a Heavy Gear/Battletech desert homestead ages ago but never got as far as building the panels (made the bases andd the mounts) - these might finish them off nicely!

Missed this, sorry.

The panels are 44mm x 33mm but that might change (but only by a mm or so). I'll also be doing a half size (44mm x 15-16mm).
