I always admire your buildings, but also how nicely you make them blend with the surrounding terrain!
You make it look like if these buildings were standing there for years! Congrats!

Finished off a Franco Prussian War chateau and I'm quite pleased with how it came out  :)

The doors for the garden open and it could also be used for WWI and WWII. The house is separate the the garden if the game calls for it.

Love it James, a really lovely job on that piece, excellent for most post 17th century games.

A few points about French houses, the building you have built is more like a maison du maître, they normally have three but up to 4 windows with either a entrance onto the street or via the courtyard . A Maison Particulière has a minimum of 5 and up to 8 windows across the front and is within a town(17-19th C), with the only entry within in the courtyard, not into the street. A chateau has a minimum of 5 windows and no maximum and is normally in the country side bit can be built around.

Cheers
Matt

Yeah, I got a nice little book about them which is a great resource but the build was to the clients directions so I was a bit stuck to do anything 'larger'  :)
