Last night, I got a chance to play on my buddy's amazing Mordheim terrain.

My Dwarves pulled out the win against my buddy's Averlanders. Unfortunately for the Averlanders, they failed their first Rout Test. Surprisingly, none of my Dwarves went OOA. Conversely, the Averlander's Ogre was blinded in one eye, an Averlander hero died, and another Averlander hero was captured by my Dwarves. The latter was paroled in exchange for 50 gc. Best of all, one of my Henchmen groups rolled 'Lads Got Talent', so I was finally able to add a 5th Hero to my roster!

Below are some WIP picks of my buddy's terrain. Most of the buildings and risers are made from insulation board and plastic and printed components. Amazing stuff!

Woah! That is amazing work! Insulation foam wouldn’t have been my first choice of materials for the roofing and details that might get bumped, I assumed it would be too easy to break. I might be wrong about that, though. It certainly looks good.

I finished five more Dwarves for my Mordheim Norse Dwarves (counts-as Dwarf Rangers) warband.

From left to right: Dwarf Crossbowman, Runesmith, Apprentice Runesmith, Troll Slayer, Troll Slayer.

Here are some more fun shots of my buddy's terrain. It's scale and creativity matches or exceeds what you see in some of the best Mordheim tables, but unlike many of the best tables, it is also truly modular. Even those buildings that partially rest on the risers are modular and designed so part of the building can rest on any of his risers.

That is bleeding amazing! The only other setup I’ve seen pictures of that is on that level is QC’s Mordheim build thread here in the Workbench section, and it’s not painted yet. I’ve never played Mordheim, but I really envy anyone who has played on that table!

Check out the custom trophy that I had made for my campaign.

Look familiar? Page 35 of the Mordheim rulebook. :)

@Syrinx0: Yup, it was made by MTM Printworks. I highly recommend MTM. https://www.mtmprintworks.ca/

@Citizen Sade: It was a toss up between the jester and the knife juggler. The juggler STL has a lot of detail and I was worried that it wouldn't translate as well at the scale needed for trophy. I do have the juggler at 28mm and I've incorporated it into my Mordheim Pirates warband.

The robed guy with two pistols and his eyes and mouth sewn up is another good choice for a trophy. I really like the Fish Rider. It'll probably be my next Mordheim trophy.

@Seal: Thanks. Once my Warlock is painted, I will post pics of the rest of the warband, and I may include a group shot.

Tuesday, my Norse Dwarves fought my buddy's Witch Hunters. It was a good game, but fairly lopsided victory for the Dwarves. Apologies in advance for the photo.

Here's a far better pic. It's my other buddy's terrain. Tuesday his Orcs & Goblins squared off against a Possessed warband. The hooded cultists look great against the backdrop of the huge statue and candles. It looks like the greenskins crashed a Possessed ritual.  :-*

I recommend that you right-click on the photo and select 'Open Image in New Tab' to view it full scale. Great photo.

Good lookin' game...makes me regret that my Mordheim replacement was shang-hai'ed by my friends into a Necromunda replacement.  Time to get back to the cursed city...
