Nice work on those pikemen. You never disappoint.

Depending upon the 2026 Adepticon line up, my next project will include either Scottish pikemen or Macedonian pikemen (sarissa).

I really like your Spanish. The purple foliage is a nice touch.

The water feature on your warlord’s base is brilliant! Love the cattails.

Thank you! For the flowers, I was inspired by the lavender fields of Provence. Was there on holiday in 2019, lots of fantastic medieval hilltop villages. Had a hell of a time with the warlord base, I first used Woodland Scenics still water, but I poured it after having glued and set the flock, and the flock sucked everything up leaving me with a shiny mess. So I had to re-flock the base, and then did the water with UV resin.

When it comes to pikes, I joke a bit about having been assigned Flemish. My two regular opponents had had a chat one day and decided between them they quite liked Scottish and Swiss, which left me with Flemish - who of course seem to be the weakest of the three :D

Great as always! Love the Perry mercenaries, really versatile kit- and you've crushed it with the painting as always, the dark green and yellow is really striking :-*

Thank you! Great kits indeed, even for their age. Only thing I miss is sword arms for light infantry.

Hell of an achievement. They look amazing. Is this one of your largest forces?

Thank you! For sure, it seems to have gotten quite out of hand. The Rohan force has more cavalry but fewer infantry, and the Black Duns have more infantry but less cavalry.

Yes, but not enough to scare fellow wargamers.  ;)
I'm not a mercenary. Killing's more of a hobby for me.

Reinforcements for my Age of Chivalry spanish are finally on their way. After finishing the green and yellow force, and with long waiting times for 3D prints to arrive, I have been less motivated to paint (doesn't help that holidays are over) but I did manage to get some paint on these figures. They are kitbashed from Victrix Rus, Vikings and Saxons, and will be melee warriors for Pagan People in Age of Crusades.

I'd finished most of the Lithuanians proper, but I still have 30 odd figures to finish for the Pagan part of this project. Hopefully I find some motivation to get these done, but my thoughts have been occupied with new projects....
