Took a break from painting and built a Grille Ausf. H for my Italian front project I hope to work on next year.

Bit of a hybrid this as the Attack kit was utterly hideous to work with, a carve your own! So got donated the running gear from the PSC kit and parts from my UM Grille that is already done to replace the gun and other bits. Then a load.of stowage to hide faults!

Its a heap, but its done...

I love that Grille, it’s probably one of my favourite of the odd, made in a barn by a talented oddball look that you see in some German vehicles, are you going to paint it as it is in the enclosed photograph?

The DLI are great, you can't go wrong with ab AB platoon.
The Grille sounds like hard work but it paid off.

My finished Durham Light Infantry platoon for Normandy inspired by my trip last year and seeing so many DLI men still there in every Commonwealth cemetery...
