I think he has a plastic head, but can’t recall where from....sorry.

I haven’t managed a game yet, as my games room looks like an earthquake hit it....I haven’t even got a clear space to take a photo of everything so far. Currently boxing up some terrain to make some room.

Still plan on writing a fast play set, will be very simple as I like flowing battles with lots of figures. Keep prodding me though, as I need to start having a ponder.

Managed to finish 24 Karstarks this week

The bodies & arms are a mix of Fireforge Foot sergeants, Byzantine Spearmen (which I bought for the helmets for my Unsullied) and Frostgrave Soldiers. The heads are from Westwind, and the shields from Gripping Beast. Green stuff added for the fur.

As you can see I opted for the Shield pattern from the TV series.

Those Karstarks have turned out great!

Loving the Westwind heads, definitely gives them a pretty unmistakable Northmen feel, and the hand-weapons rather than spears definitely goes towards the more 'wild' angrier Stark look! Captures the TV Karstark aesthetic nicely!

I've got a bit of a soft spot for the TV Karstark sigil, so nice to see it in use here!

Will you be making a Lord Rickard (and/or sons) to go with them?

It’s possible...I haven’t really thought too much about character figures yet, but I do need some command figures - given the high body count in GoT I could end up with almost as many characters as foot soldiers

 

Next on my list I think will be some free folk and the start of the dead.

The start of my Army of the Dead... more of a platoon of the dead really, as there is currently only 36 ....mantic with a few weapons added.

The next batch are already on the workbench with some green stuff furs



and a brown bear...(picked up from Bad Squiddo at the York show back in Feb)...it’s resin, so it was relatively easy to cut into the side and add some green stuff ribs. I’ve got a Copplestone polar bear on the todo list also.

Nice blue eyes on the undead, and you've done a great job on the bear!

Those undead are rather nicely unpleasant and the bear is great, the whole project is shaping up to be Season Nine
