Love your waterfront Paul! :-*

Thanks, Lon!
I have plans to come back and revisit these at some point.
 ;)

Looking nice and filthy.

Cheers, Baroni!
Careful with comments like that, though, there are some reprobates around here that can get quite excited reading remarks of that nature.
 ;)

Thank you!

Some more scatter terrain was painted at the weekend that should be pointed at with a camera later with a bit of luck....

Cool, nice to see a built-up table - nice choice of colours too, and the watery areas are a great feature.  :-*

We played another game last night but I forgot all about pictures.
I did remember to take these as I was packing away, though.....

Venetian Wells from the Carnevale range, but the aesthetic fits for Outland.

Also, some 3D printed market stalls that I picked up on Etsy. mounted on glazing 'shims'...

Everything was given the usual speed painting treatment: Dark Green spray as a primer layer, rough, heavily loaded drybrush in dark brown, a second drybrush mixing in bronze to the brown and a final light drybrush in neat bronze. They are then liberally coated in a thinned down GW 'Oxide with silly name' wash and then they are done.

Beautiful looking pieces, and thanks for sharing your recipe for the oxidized bronze, it is quite effective and sounds straight forward to do!

I should mention that the first drybrush of brown is pretty heavy with a lot of paint covering most of the model, just leaving the green to show in the recesses.
The brown 'drybrush' stages are pretty rough and ready, done with a half inch decorating brush, switching down to a smaller make up brush for the final stage.

Every now and then on LAF I stumble across a cracking thread like this that I hadn't caught before and I get to send time looking at all of the earlier pages - a visual treat!

It's inspired me to get one with some of the sci-fi buildings that I've half done and then shoved to the side when another project has come along.  Changing the roofs has a huge effect that I hadn't realised before and the "topper" idea is genius.  Excellent work and I'll be stealing as many ideas as I can!

And please steal away.

You continue to wow us! Love the waterfront setup. I feel it itching in my terrain-building fingers, need to make more terrain!

It seems like that board needs a little bridge over the canal/river, right?

I hope that's on the cards for you. I'd love to see what you do for a bridge in Outland.

Funny you should say that as I have just finished two for the 'urban' areas.
Pictures tomorrow.
