Thanks Carlos, that's very nice of you to say so.
Must confess, I pretty much made them up with the paints already out on my desk. Light grey/dark grey, khaki, the browns I use on rifles and base edges, the blue I added to the light grey I did the para wings with, hence the blue'ish jumper.

That's all of the Arnhem Heroes Kickstarter figures done just now. Out of ww2 stuff, but quite fancy having a go at a Panther G, and maybe some sort of Jerry jeep.

This is a fantastic set of figures for Arnhem - not just the civilians, the jeeps and the paras going back a few pages!

You know if you fancied supplementing those Dutch resistance chaps, then there's more than a few likely candidates in Empress' German Revolution range. By the very same sculptor too. A few of mine are currently serving as pre-war Sudeten German terrorists, they are remarkably useful and versatile figures. The Empress Romanians give you some tin hats if you fancy fielding more.

Thanks guys.
Just had a look at the 'German revolution' range , the first couple of packs CIV1 & CIV2 would fit with these very nicely.

Finally got hold of a Panther Ausf G.
A 3D resin print from Imperator Models.
Also came with schurzen side panels, a commander figure and an MG.

I made a bit of a mess with the experimental zimmerit, and should probably have scraped it off to have a better go,
however my inner procrastinating apathy gene kicked in, and managed to convince the rest of me that 'it'll look fine with a coat of camo and some dirt'...

...if not, can always scrape it off and have another go.

No worries, zimmerit was not always as perfectly applied as some model kits would have you believe.  I think it looks fine, and I'm with your inner procrastinating apathy gene (I have one of those too...).  A little paint and some weathering, and Bob's your uncle! (to use a phrase from you side of the pond...)  8)

Agreed. It was hand applied and some of the real article looks a damn site rougher than yours. Good to go with a paint job IMO.

Zimmerit looks fine.

Is it correct that the Germans were the only real users of magnetic anti-tank mines/charges, so Zimmerit was a pretty pointless counter-measure that they applied?
