To be honest I am mostly delving through the 'mountain' for stuff, although the Sabretooth thingy was an impulse purchase at Dark Sphere last week, although it is much smaller than I anticipated. It will do, though as it is imposing enough up against one of the Hunters. Pricey on its own too. The 'Tooth and Claw' set is much better value if anyone is interested, as for roughly twice the price you get a huge ape, a jackalope and a couple of humans too.

Well, so do it but I cannot take a decent picture of it.

Introducing Badpuss!*












As well as the more cartoon-like, bigger eyes it has also had a fair bit of 'hair'added to it as it was not very imposing straight from the sprue, much smaller than I envisaged. It has been a nightmare to try and take a picture of and I hope it will respond better when in-game shots are taken.
Fingers crossed....

Here it is next to a hunter, which is making me think it needs a bigger base.



*He did originally have a more Bagpuss-like appearance with stripes but I got a bit carried away with the ink washes and this was the result.

The Clan of the Cave Bears will be an alternative Tribe (or even a rival for Tribal war action too!) for my own Palaeo Diet games.
I have some rules for them, that I want to run by Nic first before posting here.

We got a couple of games in tonight with two successful Hunts,with the first being pretty spectacular as the team of Hunters took out a marauding Badpuss as well as accruing enough food to feed the Tribe for the season.
Saying that, though, the second game was pretty sad with Vicious Sid being killed by an enraged Poundshopasaurus!
