Good guy your brother : )

Thanks everyone!

I took normal heads, hollowed out their eyes and noses with a fine drill bit. Then did some fiddly sculpting. I was happy to discover I managed to pull it off.

It's mostly about where you choose to put your highlights.

Yes, my brother named the ogre after Rammstein's frontman. :)

Terrific as always! I love the ogres in particular - and the Breughelly, dusty vibe of the whole lot!

They are truly fantastic. Your style is amazing, and this project is inspirational from start to finish.

Thanks everyone!

I rebased my Mordheim MMXIX cultists to fit my AoS collection, and added a woman and child to their number.

More about that in the new blog post:

Just so creepy. They're reminiscent of the Drunes from Slaine.

Thanks!

Spirits

Many of these waited for their turn since the time Soul Wars was released. The whole lot only took me a few hours to paint, as the almost monochrome colour scheme I used is really quick to do. I can whip up a step-by-step tutorial if there's enough interest.

This model was built by , and I liked it so much I bought it off him.

Brilliant again. Your entire body of work feels so original as well as so consistently beautiful (in a wonderfully creepy way). And your technical and artistic execution in both painting and modelling is first class. This is one of my all-time favourite threads on LAF. Please keep it going :)

Wonderful stuff again. The way the features are disturbingly hidden and just a hint of a face is showing, makes it all the more creepy.
