Nope, I think it's great too.  I'm just not good at coming up with anything to say beyond "What he said!"

there are a few threads on the boards here with top class stuff that I've noticed like that; not getting the response one might expect - no idea why - just one of those things - please keep posting.

Might be 'coz you're on the 'wip' board with a catch all thread.

Excellent work. I really like the textures you achieve with your distinctive painting style. Contrast is also great. Hard to describe it, but it looks like your own take on painting Goblins.

'ello. :)

I really enjoy the look of your O&G. Kudos for putting all this work into them. All that bloody NMM with all the little scratches and brown reflections and all! Good stuff. I also like the unique colour scheme and overall that 'grainy' look, which makes them look proper menacing. I think that sort of texture is what is extremely lacking in GW figures especially  now. At least in many, many paintjobs you see and certainly the studio paintjobs. Especially with O&G though your style works so great. It makes different textures visible, the earthy tones give the figures a certain sense of reality (as far fetched as that may sound).

Did you make the standards from thin plasticard, softened up with a hair dryer?

Also - chain of command in 10mm: That gets my approval. :D Good stuff.

@ Billchuck: Thanks!

@Peithetairos: Thank you very much!

@Spinal Tap: Thank you too!

@Sigur: Thank you so much! The brown "reflections" are supposed to be rust actually  :D You are spot on with the standards. That is exactly how I do them, but instead of a hair dryer I have used a lighter.

I finished another batch of spearman. Still need six more, plus command.

Oh well, shine, rust... tomato/tomah-toe. :D I just thought it was some sort of reflections because the high-contrast NMM look on the spear heads is so spot on. Either way, it's a great look.

Those look excellent, so much character! I love the textured effect you get on the banners.
