Both edgy and cartoony. And hard to believe it's not 28mm.

This.

Bags of character....great work

In a meanatime I've started working on my dark Young from reaper bones. Unfortunately the cast has some serious issues with mouldlines and misalignment of moulds during casting, which will take a lot of time to resculpt parts of tentacles and body.

Oooh, not good. Make sure to post a pic before it's painted so we can see the work you've done :)

The big rat looks tremendous - and the sheer size of the Dark Young should make it worth the effort!

I'll definitely post patched version of the Dark Young :).

Thank you Hobgoblin :), now I'm planning to buy Gug from Reaper, but can't find how big it is.

I've almost finished my Rat Ogre.

I've done that one about four times now for various customers.  The tentacle mold lines are easy to remove with a hobby knife, most of the gaps on assembly are trivial to fill with putty.  The leg moldlines are harder to clean, and (as you can see in his image) Reaper thought its was a good idea to stick their name and copyright right on one of the thighs - he's already puttied it over.  But at $8 for a fig that barely fits on a 120mm base, it's worth the minor effort involved.

Oh it's definitely a bang for a buck.  Now I'm trying to Hunt down reaper bones cthulhu :).
