Great work.

I now have a mental video image of you and the missus arguing because you want to keep the left overs from your crab supper because it may come in handy one day!

You are certainly dedicated to the cause! Lol

Thanks Chris.
Will have to get you over for a game before too long.
Maybe wean you off all of that 54mm stuff & onto
'proper' wargaming scales.

That sounds like a plan,  it'll be a great incentive to stock up on some 1/72 starter kits and try Airfix's weekend challenge.

What is that?

Every weekend they ask people to go back to basics. They use it to promote their starter sets. Just get some nippers and sandpaper, then use the included paints, brush and glue to build the kit. They then get people to post their results on Facebook and Instagram.

It will never replace making Sci-Fi scenery out of bits
of old washing machines, well for me it won't. lol

These (Space Marines & Dwarves) are courtesy of
a good friend (JC). He is having a clear out & kindly
gave me a lot of stuff. These were about 90% done
& it seemed a shame to put them away in a box, so...

I finished them off.
First up the Marines. I put them into squads, useful
for multi-player Galactic Heroes.

...and the Dwarves.
I just did the shields & a (very) little bit of titivating.

Nice Pete.
I’m hoping to do a similar thing with JC’s half finished SCW figures....if I ever get to the shed.

But Bob, it is only ten paces from your back door.
A fit man like you should make it. lol

Very nice set of figures.  It's good to see two different approaches to painting come together to make a great finished result as well. I'm well out of practice with my miniature painting, so I'd better get stuck in soon if I hope to trail into 28mm gaming

Don't worry Chris, we will get you painting 28mm figures. lol

Meanwhile, Flatpack gave me a kiddy's sand castle mould,
but what do make out of it?
Obviously a spaceship!

To hide the base, which was some plastic packaging,
I added asteroids (made from blue foam). It then became
obvious (well to me at least) that it was a mining vessel.
Then the problem of what to name 'her'?
Another LAFer's thread, about Britain during a time of Civil
Unrest, gave me the answer.
Behold the Mining Vessel 'Arthur Scargill'.

Hope Flatpack likes this addition to his space fleet.
