Nah!  but regardless….despite thinking you have it covered, there is always that next project just over the horizon!

I’m quite enjoying revisiting a few of the projects I started and dropped…..quite therapeutic I’m finding!

That is true for me too.
Came across my 6mm Pony wars figures last year,
finally tracked down my copy of the rules this year, so...

Ooops! Forgot to include some photographic proof.

The three big rock slabs & the bits of rough ground
(rocks and tall bushes).

Blame Vodkafan for this.

He bought & 'baggaged up' some cheap polythene tanks.
I have taken four to paint up. Mine are done! When his
are complete we will have a game of What a Tanker.
Knock out an enemy tank & you get to keep the model!!
(His idea folks)

What are the clear plastic thing on the stat cards, Diamonds?
I believe you are cheating us with those rock slabs, they look real?
Nice camo on the tanks

Purchased some pre-painted figures,
(from a friend of a friend).
here are some Republican Romans.
Removed them from old bases,
Based them onto 2p coins,
Repaired their weapons,
Tarted up the paint job &
Swapped the Triari's weapons (Spear for Pilum)
They are now ready for a skirmish game,
all they need is some opposition.
Now if the 'friend of a friend' has some Carthaginians... :D

Not diamonds, but from a bag of plant pot decorative toppers.
From Poundland, so I splashed out & bought TWO packets.
Yes, you spotted it, they are real. Been sitting in a box for years
daring me to do anything with them. Now at least they are being
used on table, in games.
Thanks for the compliment. I have rarely done winter camo,
the only other time I was eleven & had blown a whole half
a crown (12 & a half p) on two of the then brand new
Airfix T34. So that my then opponent, & fellow schoolboy's,
German tanks stuck out like the proverbial sore thumb on
the Wargames table, I painted my T34...completely gloss
white & borrowed a white sheet from my mother. Winter!

Well I don’t know about Carthaginian, but I pretty much have a Germanic warband ready to fend off Roman expeditions.

Going to need someone to learn Infamy with me….😉

But David, my Romans are Republican, you need Early Imperial.
Now James has some &, in the Lead Mountain (unpainted), so do I.

My Republicans are not Late, they have one greave (on
left leg) which is (believed) to be Punic War at the latest.
Later is when they dropped the one greave thing.
Mine could fight Gauls, in fact the Gauls captured Rome.
Don't think they get up to the Danube.

As you say, we will have a chat. It would be helpful though
if you could give me an idea of what I would need for,
'Infamy Infamy' I do have a whole box-file full of Romans,
but they are Early Imperial Citadel  lol which though very
nice are 25mm. More digging in Lead Mountain will (I'm
sure) find me some 28mm Ancients, probably 28mm EIR.
