Now i just have to complicate it a bit more. lol

You can do that with White Gel pen &/or fine (indelible) black liners.
The trick is to keep it simple. My own Kilt (yes I do own & have worn one)
has many more lines of colours on it than my wargaming ones, but from
across the table they look fine. Hold your figure at arm's length because
that is how far (at least) that it will normally be seen from. Remember the
eye might well tell the brain everything, but the brain is lazy & only deals
with the absolute basics. That is why we can look at a cloud & think we see
a car, dog, bunny rabbit etc. etc.

Picked up three odd bits from a charity shop.
First up an Elephant, to join the herd I already have.

Been working on & off for several years on 15mm Ancient figures
for a friend.
I have now finished (what he tells me) will be the very last unit of
the last batch.

It is nice. That is why I like Skirmish games, the 'Project'
is smaller & quicker to complete.
 lol lol lol

If you re-named some of yours you could do similar.
e.g. Is called French Napoleonic (Peninsular war) Army = quite a way to go.
Might be called Napoleonic Army 1st Brigade = Done & now working on 2nd Brigade.
 :D :D :D

A couple of spare 15mm Hoplites, so I made them into a statue.

Always seem to have a banana stalk on the painting table,
waiting to become some alien flora.

The amount of bananas you get through is astounding! 😉

It is only a bunch every other week. But, & you'll never believe this,
I do let things build up on the painting table.
 lol lol lol

I really like the variety of terrain you churn out.
Truly an inspirational thread where everything and anything gets turned into terrain.

I particularly admire your banana stalk plants; but I'm curious now: are they sturdy and long lasting? Do you spray them with varnish? Or do they naturally dry into a fibrous material that's just resistant enough not to need anything?

I do leave them to dry out, normally about a week, at most two.
By then they are like potpourri & will last as is for a long time.
I do spray varnish them, this also helps protect the flock
attached to the base, as well as any paint job done on the stalks.

Give it a go.
It is a)Easy & b) Cheap :D :D :D

With the banana skins, it’s important you follow all the steps, as you don’t want to ‘slip up’ on anything.  lol lol

A joke with appeal/a peel ????

Today, retrieved from a charity shop bargain box,
A Sci-Fi Hero, White Eagle.
Chopped off the wings & claws. Added holster, backpack & some pouches &
gave him a quick paint job.

I believe that's from the Gormiti range.
Always love seeing toys turned into miniatures
