Looks Damn fine! Artifacts are usually small or broken and can be tucked in anywhere you need. better yet just model some small brown paper bags or muslin sacks and call it a day.
Got to kick at the darkness till it bleeds daylight.

Thanks fella.  Indeed you are quite correct….I should just have piles of broken pottery etc…but I’m going full out pulp on this one…so I have ordered a sarcophagus, some canopic jars and a few statuettes - rich find to be sure! 😉

Someone else on LAF made some quite believable pottery shards.
he used bits of broken egg shell set with superglue. Just a thought David.

Cheers Pete, will have a think on…

Ash, thanks fella 😉

The archaeologists tent still also needs artefacts but is playable.   Just need some figures now me thinks…

Man, your tables must be great to play on from a visual stand point.  Very, very nice.

And I love the flowers on the palm tree, that is an exceptional detailing touch.  Have one in bloom just like that around the corner from where I live (well, two corners but who's counting?!  lol).   I believe this is the first time I've seen any in bloom around here that were white, maybe a couple of times for yellow for different varieties - maybe.

Of course, duly noted for inspiring my own work.

Thanks for saying so….yes, I like making scenery 😉

So…nearly enough for a good sized pulp game I think.

I still think I’m missing something……and certainly some figures to play over it…..but it’s getting there.

"I still think I’m missing something……"

Well, that one 'naked' camel looks a bit lonely.  I imagine you already have some goats.  I think a motor car and a truck would add a lot of interest.  And a biplane.  After that, I don't think you have room for more.  Maybe a few scorpions here and there, a platoon of scarab beetles, perhaps a snake or three?  No, seriously, you can get these things in the 3D printing world these days.  Or, as others have suggested, a bit more above ground ruins, some tumbled columns or some such.

And, if I may, the source of your ground cover?  (or did I miss that earlier in the thread somewhere?)

That would be my fault.  Would be good to add to your dig.
