Whilst we are at it…I’m looking for a suitable 1920/30’s high sided truck on which we will be putting the following company logo….thanks Jamie for the help!…..

You could use on of these, by Lledo.  They made trucks in several different liveries.  They are more in the 1910s, but would still be around in the 20s, and even the 30s...FYI, the figure is 28mm, for comparison's sake...

Yup that could work.   I’ve ordered an  Bedford but if it doesn’t work, I will take a look for one of these.  Cheers

The tent will get a little finds table out front but now I need to find some 28mm scale small egyptian artefacts ……anyone suggest from where please?

Wargods of Egyptus (https://www.crocodilegames.com/content/storeImg/WGE-106.jpg
but that would be an expensive option.

Jewelry fittings might be a good place to look. Ear-rings, charms etc.

A small bit of Green-stuff could pass muster, if you use your obvious skills.

Maybe….but I couldn’t make ANYTHING approaching the quality of these items from green stuff!

They are cool.

I agree, they are cool, but think along the following lines.
You have one nicely detailed wooden crate, but want a stack.
You wouldn't  try to make similar crates in green-stuff, no!
What you would do is cut some bits of balsa wood into crate
sized lumps & cover it with a 'tarpaulin' (paper towel soaked in wood glue)
with only the detailed crate showing.

I was thinking you could do something similar.

Yup I know that….but I like shiny looking objects that scream Egyptian bling at me!

Anyway, it’s done now!

Snap.  Always my complaint.  These should fit in nicely though.  Maybe some 10 or 15mm Egyptians as small statues too?
Edit.
Just found this.  Might be more items for you.

Looking to the left, looking to the right, peaking under that tarpaulin over there, sneaking about and looking in the nooks and crannies, and, nope, no Digits to be found here for months and months.  Oh, well - butterflies got to flit.

Sigh.   ;)

Guilty as charged.

Saying that I did see the Mr Chicken van on Jamie’s paint table yesterday!

Those relics will get painted soon I’m sure and I have other ideas for the excavation yet.

However, my head is currently turned….I’m painting ww2 Russians, building a hamlet, painting Samurai and about to renovate a medieval castle!  I can’t be everywhere at once can I? 😉
